Your Compassionate Legal Advisor

Kim began her career in the health care profession as a radiation therapist. During her work as a therapist, she was able to see for herself the challenges faced by patients with chronic illness and their families. Her 16 years of experience in this industry inspired her to take up a legal career. She ended up specializing in the elder law and estate planning field. This experience has transformed her into a compassionate professional who is dedicated to her clients and can provide them with practical advice pertaining to their specific issue.

Kim attended Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at night while working full-time as a radiation therapist at Stony Brook University Hospital and JT Mather Memorial Hospital, while, at the same time, raising three young children.

She graduated with her J.D., cum laude in 2003. In 2010, Kim established her own Elder Law, Estate Planning, and Trust and Estate Administration practice after leaving another law firm, where she practiced for over seven years.

Active Speaker for Various Programs

Kim is frequently called upon to present sessions as part of the continuing legal education programs at the Suffolk & Nassau Bar Associations and seminars for financial institutions and other professional organizations.

She also regularly provides informational seminars for the community. Kim has presented at HSBC, Ameriprise, Signature Bank, UBS, Wells Fargo Mortgages, Sachem High School, Sachem Public Library, Brentwood Library, Port Jefferson Library, Shoreham Wading River Library, Moriches Bay Diner, Half Hollow Hills and Lindenhurst adult and continuing education programs, and JT Mather Memorial Hospital, to name a few.

A Prominent Contributor to the Legal Community

As a member of numerous professional organizations, Kim is actively involved in the legal community. She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association, where she served as President from 2011 to 2012.

She currently serves as a delegate representing Suffolk County in the New York State Women’s Bar Association and is serving as Co-Chair of its Elder Law and Estate Planning Committee. She also serves as an executive board member of the Estate Planning Council of Suffolk County and as a board member of United Cerebral Palsy of Long Island.
