Kim M. Smith began the practice of law in 2003 after leaving a career in the healthcare industry. From inception Kim has practiced in the areas of elder law, estate planning, estate & trust administration, special needs planning and guardianships. The combination of her years of practicing in these areas along with her unique background in the healthcare profession proves to be a great advantage when it comes to creating plans to help her clients.

Kim’s team is committed to providing her clients and their families with practical, down to earth advice and tools to assist them with their elder law and estate planning needs as they navigate through life.                     Paralegal

                    After attending Nassau Community College, SUNY Stony Brook and SUNY Old Westbury, Christine started working in the Elder Law field in 2007. Christine has brought her experience from two prior law firms and is now a paralegal with Kim Smith Law Group, PLLC.

                    Outside of the office, Christine enjoys travelling, gardening, knitting, photography, hiking, and spending time with her family, her fourteen year old dog Boomer, and her friends. Christine lives in Suffolk County with her husband, a retired Nassau County Police Officer, her son, and Boomer.
                    Alissa Brigandi

                    Alissa Brigandi

                    Legal Assistant

                    Alissa Brigandi is a  part-time Legal Assistant with Kim Smith Law Group, PLLC.  She is a second year law student at at Touro Law School. She graduated cum laude from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a minor in Mathematics. 

                    Outside of work, Alissa enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, traveling, and watching movies.
